I've checked a.net photo archives but can't find a picture of the Russian (Soviet) aircraft called the Maxim Gorki. At the time the worlds largest aircraft. Collided with a chase plane while circling Moscow. Any a.netters have a picture they can post? Thank you kindly.

Not to be flip about it, but a simple Google search revealed a ton of pictures.

Here's one from Wikipedia. It's the Antonov ANT-20.

Many of those are spam- and malware-infested links. Just FYI. Google image search isn't quite up to snuff yet IMO. Airliners.net is a great place to ask questions like this...no need to discourage it.

I am currently reading A Sense of Life by Antoine de St. Exupery and in it he writes about his trip to Moscow and his ride in the Maxim Gorki the day before it crashed. He was writing for a French newspaper. I always go to Airliners.net first in hopes that it will spark some discussion and some information will be exchanged. Thanks to those who have contributed to that discussion.
