Looking for any information on the Antonov that is supposed to arrive in the area to pick up a pump truck for the Fukushima nuclear power plant operation. Only thing I heard was that it would be here around the 9th.

Two concrete pumps being modified to pump water, one in SC the other in CA. It looks like it'll be stopping in S Carolina en route, unless it's making 2 trips, or it's a long drive from SC.

Now it appears to be enroute to MMPB: http://flightaware.com/live/flight/V...0/history/20110407/1500Z/KATL/MMPB

I wonder if this is related to the concrete pump shipment... Did anyone get a picture of it in ATL?

I love the smell of fresh jet blast in the morning! In the afternoon and in the evening, too!

According to the ATL page on Facebook, the An-124 was here to pick up a concrete pumping truck. But they said that the An-124 was coming in on Friday and leaving Saturday, I guess they got the info mixed up.

From what I heard, there is another AN-124 coming in at the end of the week. The first one has already departed. They usually park at South Cargo.

The 124 is parked in front of the Imperial Terminal. Watched them load the Putzmeister M70 but since I didn't know the departure time I left. Anyone know the estimated departure time for the 124 at LAX?
