UA 747 Parked At SYD This Evening (not Normal)

Posted (2 years 1 month 1 week 4 days 1 hour ago) and read 1890 times:

Flew back home into SYD this evening (day trip to BNE) and noticed that a UA747 was parked in the off terminal area across the cross run way opposite the international terminal (I know there is a better description - but I'm tired from the trip!).

Any one know why it is there and impact today?

Looking thru the arrival and departure info, it looks like 3 747's arrived this morning and only 2 left this afternoon. The extra arrival was UA939D.
There is an extra UA9800 to LAX tomorrow at 1600.
