So I was just reading a CNN article (http://www.cnn.com/2011/OPINION/04/21/koblin.data.art/index.html )and they had a link to this very nice "art" of the flight pattens of the USA. I searched and I see that it has come up before but it has been four years since the last one and I think people here will really enjoy it and that plenty have not seen it.

It is quite interesting to watch, I especially like watching how the nation quiets down for the night but just as it does a series of "red-eye" flights launch from the west coast to begin the rush of the east coast operations.

I tried to embed the video but I can't tell if it worked (I don't think it did, I seem to have problems doing that), so the first link below takes you to the Flightpattern video. The second is what I believe is the homepage for his "art".
