Hi Guys, just a quick question:
Two days ago, in April 26, a Gol flight number 1399 (737-800) making the rout SSA-CGH had an incident during landing, when after touch down some panels that are part of the ceiling fell over the passengers, exposing wires and creating some panic.
Although some passengers mentioned the landing was very hard, putting blame on the pilot, the pilot himself apologized for the occurrence but blamed a failure in the landing gear as its cause. Later Gol issued an statement mentioning that problems with the landing gear after touchdown caused a vibration which dislocated the inner panels.
My question is: What´s behind this? mechanical failure or Pilot/Gol being really unethical in its explanation? The aircraft is very very new...
