About Delta's L-1011s?

Which planes will replace (or have already done it) L-1011s in Delta fleet ? Maybe 777s ? New planes ?

Is this true for Flights to Hawaii? I wouldn't mind seeing one or two 767-400's here at DFW, but DL 1264 was a L1011, now it is a 767-300 :-(... not that I don't like the 767-300, but I'd much rather see the 400, better yet, keep the L1011...

DL's daily service from HNL to LAX and SFO and OGG to LAX, used L-1011s exclusively. They have been replaced by 764s. When DL resumes non-stop service to ATL and DFW, which is scheduled for the fall, they will use 764s.

Although the L10s were old and didn't have the sophisticated PTVs or footrests that 764s now offer in first class, the L10 was wider and you had a feeling of spaciousness. Also, three engines are always better than two, especially over the pacific.

Delta's re-fleeting in order to replace the L-1011 started with the MD-11. In addition, they continuously acquired B767-300 and, recently, B767-400 equipment to phase out the remaining TriStars.

All in all, Delta's L-1011 replacement consists of a mix of MD-11, B767-400 and B767-300 equipment.
