Some very good news for Zeppelin-fans. Sorry, only in German:

Zeppelins are so much cooler than oversized party balloons!

While this is good news the fact that only four have been built yet over more than a decade must be disappointing to the Zeppelin factory. A Zeppelin is a very good advertising tool and a nice vehicle for leisure flights which deserves a wider recognition.

Valid point about how nice flying, or riding in, a Zeppelin is. The problem is landing towers and hanger space. I can easily land, service, and hanger a Cesna sized airplane almost anywhere. Finding airports with landing towers and hangers for Zeppelins is a challenge.

Hate to break it to you, but you can land an airship in many more places than you can land an airplane. An airship doesn't really have to be in a hangar either. Also, the mast needed to hold an airship is portable, needing to be driven from site to site. Needless to say, $21 million a piece is a crazy amount of money compared to what a non-rigid airship costs to build.
