757 Grounding

hi all. can someone shed some light on this problem with the 757s being grounded? thanks.

From what i hear, there were cracks discovered in the engine blades. Pratt and Whittny will have the corrected part available by December i think. Hope that helps!

I believe it was only in DL and one other airline. I believe that was CO or NW, not sure!

I thought CO 757's used Rolls Royce engines actually I am pretty sure they are RR. I havn't heard of us grounding any planes. I believe Delta, United and maybe (not sure) US all had to ground 757's with the Pratt Whitney engines.

That would be horrible. What will DL and UA do without the 757's? Are they leasing aircraft? canceling flights?
