Does anyone know of any new routes that are being considered for NCL? If you cant post here, could you please e-mail them to me if possible?
Also whilst on the subject, has anyone passed through NCL recently?? Which flight were you on and how did you find the airport??
Thanks for any help,
Graham.

I keep hearing the same old rumour that CO are thinking of starting a daily 757 service to EWR sometime soon, anyone know any more about this?? Also, does anyone think that NCL could become a great base for a low-cost carrier, only Teeside in the NE England gets a Daily Ryanair to Dublin, no other low cost carriers in the area. Debonair, used to have 3 daily NCL-LTN before they went bust.

GKirk,

I would be very surprised if CO were to start into NCL, doesn't sound as if there would be much of a market for it, ecspecially as you have them operating to GLA and MAN and soon to EDI.

GO, EZY or RYR you never know they all seem to be expanding with new routes, definetly sounds like a possibility.

I think the only real expansion will come from charter carriers in the summer and possibly some more new routes being launched by Gill soon.

I have only ever flown into NCL a couple of times for a refuel in the helicopter so never really used the terminal facilities.

Yeah seems charters are the way forward. Currently NCL is the 5th largest charter airport in the UK, I hear Gill may start a 4 daily ATR42 service to MAN in september. Maybe we will see more service by BA CitiExpress?

I would discount those CO rumours. Especially if an open skies deal is done with the US at LHR. Seems as if these negotiations are going somewhere. DL's only new route to Europe next year will be from CDG and LHR (so they say).
