I was just looking at the FLL wikipedia page and saw that under airlines and destinations it said DL operates FLL-SLC seasonally. Is this true? If not is it a viable route? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Same for TPA-SLC. It seems to come and go. I don't know what the O&D numbers are like for FLL and TPA - SLC, I would think at least one flight could do well considering the connection opportunities there.

Delta did seem to fill both FLL and TPA pretty well. It didn't seem to be a problem getting people on the planes but I guess one can assume it was almost all low yielding vacationers and DL would rather connect them in ATL or just loose the ultra low fares to Southwest as its far and cheap in general (or was before oil shot up here). DL does fly 2x daily to MCO but i guess that demand is too large to ignore especially with a big hub to feed.

I don't think DL has flown SLC-FLL for a year or two now. It used to be seasonal, along with TPA, but now DL's only Florida route out of SLC is MCO. And if they were to restart SLC-South Florida, it might well be to MIA with the recent build-up there...
