According to the FAA database, that the registration was cancelled in 1991, with the reason stated as "Destroyed". The NTSB shows it was involved in a non-fatal accident in California in September 1988, however the link to the report comes up with a server error. I did find this from AircraftOne.com:
Quote: DURING A CROSSCOUNTRY FLT, WHILE ENROUTE FROM LAKE HAVASU CITY, AZ, TO BANNING, CA, THE ENGINE EXPERIENCED A LOSS OF POWER. THE AIRPLANE COLLIDED WITH THE TERRAIN AFTER A FORCED LANDING. INSPECTION OF THE FUEL SYSTEM REVEALED THERE WAS NO FUEL ON BOARD.
