This Hamburg Airways livery looks neat and is a simple, no-nonsens design. The new company got rid of the 'hamburger' shaped sun (?) of Hamburg Int'l and replaced it by a red sun with a nicely designed white bird symbol. The red-blue is a safe but bit boring colour combination but might be chosen on purpose I guess as they are representing the city colours of Hamburg: the blue symbolizes the water, harbour and naval history of this Hanze city. The company however is based in Berlin and not in Hamburg..... The Hamburg Airways branding looks clean and reflects reliability.

Wow, finally there is a livery.
For a long time, it flew with the new colors on the belly, plain blue tail with the old hamburg international logo shining through and airberlin markings.
Googled a picture: http://www.skybird-ev.de/tour/gia/str/dahin.jpg
Edit: oops, i see the ones with AB marking are actually.... AB. Who thought of that. My mistake... Still one of the funniest livery-mix I ever saw.
