How to read:
-This compares what is for sale THIS WEEK for the stated period versus what was for sale LAST WEEK...It does NOT compare to

last year or now (UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED).
-This report uses total operations over a week, so non-daily operations create fractional weekly service. Daily service is

generally rounded up to the next whole number, but if the service is one or two flights per day the report may show a decimal

approximation of the service level. For example, 0.8 would mean five flights per week.
-The code listed is the marketing code. Clearly there are a lot of regional operators, but that is too complicated for this

report.
-In most cases only one direction is shown with the hub service shown together.
-Changes are shown for each month separately. Since the report goes out 9 months, a change which is not shown for the full 9

months does not take place in the months not shown.
-Flights shown are intended to represent daily flights or fractions thereof.
-DL XXX-YYY 4>4 This happens as a result of rounding. There is a change in service that is large enough to be listed, but

through rounding it does not appear. I will look to change the automation to eliminate these in the future, but as of now we

will have to live with them.

I marked some of the ones I thought were interesting with an "*".

This is just a schedule extension inside December. I don't think there is anything of consequence. I see no DFW.

I think the battle of Hawaii is over and HA won. I noted that HA ended minimum mileage accrual in their FFP which basically

means they no longer consider GO a viable competitor. They continue cutting seats + raising fares.

WN rolled their schedule forward. Here is a comparison of December 2011 to December 2010. I don't usually do the comparison this way, but because there is no prior schedule to compare to I have to compare to something. I'm surprised there aren't more differences so I'm wondering if I made a mistake because it seems like too few...

Does this resume (Sundays only) in August or is Tam dropping this route?

During July and August TAM offers charters between Miami and various cities in Brazil - Fortaleza, Recife, Salvador and Natal mainly - and sells excess capacity to the public.

August was never for sale. The July flights are now deleted. MAH4546 is probably right, but that area is not one that I follow.

The flights are probably still operating. They have 9xxx numbers. Deletion just means that no sale to the public. A tour company probably bought up all the seats.

This is really where their MEM hub should thrive. Sad to see them pulling it apart. I don't see a lot of other routes working from MEM without these regional connections.

Enilria,

1. Like countless others have said, these OAG threads are great, thanks for putting them together.

2. Have you thought about putting the data in terms of seat-count rather than number of flights? This would take into account changes of aircraft size. Case in point, you show DL reducing the JFK-BTV flights from 4 to 3 this fall. However it's my understanding that DL is also moving some CR7s and CR9s to JFK, and putting one or more of these on the BTV route in place of a current CR2/E135/E145, so BTV may not actually be losing any seats with the 4 to 3 flight reduction. (Apologies if you've had this question in previous threads - I don't usually read the comments, only your OAG changes).

Any thought on why so much of the MEM cuts are coming in such short order? Without any clear, offsetting capacity increase in July and onward it would see either some DL* planes are being parked, or some DL* plane deliveries are behind schedule and they are shifting the existinng fleet to offset those delays. Anyone have any sign of either of those?

I pulled up the CO electronic timetable and when i checked for September it seems liked all of the 73G/738s flying out of Gum have been removed, is that an error?

Last i checked Delta was continuing to fly 2x daily even after the summer on BOS-LHR. I would think that is a possible slim down? Once a day still has delta in the market and i thought rumor was that one of the times was doing above expectations and the other was below expected? I could see that slim down happening as part of the reductions.

I just said this in the delta Europe reductions thread. I think this was an easy decision for Delta. They are still in the market at 1x daily just fine. Will this slot just disapear now for Delta?

Can't be used on another route. Not sure if DL must now forfeit it. In this market, AA/BA might be happy to continue the lease if DL is willing to pay for an unused slot. Then again, I believe Heathrow slots cannot be warehoused for extended periods, hence we've seen UA and AA fly LHRBRU in recent years.

I do not know where all of the cuts are being taken up in other slots but for my home airport, SDF, we are getting additional flights to other hubs. Namely, MSP is adding flights on bigger aircraft (CR7) where it was a CRJ and now an additional flight.
