According to news sources, DL will raise the price of the 2nd checked bag on European flights to $60 (if checked online) or $75 (at the airport). They will also charge $30 for a second checked bag to Latin America.
The price of an overweight bag to Europe will be reduced from $150 to $75.

So, let's see here...I can fly DL from the US to Europe and pay to have a second checked bag for my vacation...or I can pay the same price to fly BE, LH, AF, etc and not have to pay a dime (yes, I know some of them limit you to one, but you get my point). It's stuff like this that is the main reason why I NEVER fly a US airline on international flights whenever possible.

Yeah, great idea, since all the Euroopean airlines allow 2 free checked bags.

Air France increased their 2nd bag from usd55 to USD75 as of jun 1st.

Except they all now charge you for a second bag, but if you like you can still avoid US Carriers....
