Does this mean that they are now going to have their own union?(im referring to JetBlue crewmembers)

Bring JetBlue To Mexico City! (TLC and/or MEX would be great)

I thought they had a pay clause that reduces their pay if they unionize..or did I dream that?

When looking at how contracts work, that seems to be impossible. I'm no expert on Blue 'happenings' but a new contract will be negotiated if/when they unionize. The pay won't just slip to whatever the company says it should be.

You were dreaming. Such a clause is illegal..

Given the current make-up and recent rulings of the NMB, JetBlue would be incredibly stupid to try and take retaliatory action (as it should be regardless).

There's also a lot more that goes into contract negotiations than just pay.

Which is essentially what I meant to type but didn't; IDK why.

This only schedules a vote, per the OP link.

Due to the slower growth, it is possible the pilots will unionize a la DL.
It is also possible the pilots will reject the union (although it looks likely at this point).

Interesting...
