I find the new site layout very well done. Also the roll over in the menu is nice to find information. Personally it's a improvement and was discussed according the layout of all Business Class on A380's UP delivered by June..
Only "minor": The Cabin layouts are rather large and don't have all the same size (e.g. A380 Layout1 vs. all upper deck Business class)
What I like the most is the "Singapore Stopover Holiday" section that can be accessed from the main page. Very nice overview and detailed.
Also the Flight search section is very well done, gives you the "Local weather - 5 day forecast" also provides you with: Top things to do / Country information / Airport information.
Also the vid of the Singapore Airlines Suites is really great

Might look nice, but have you tried booking it on line....Different story, in fact no story as you can't!! I have been trying for days and it seems they have launched the new site, without it being fully functional...Spoke to ex collegue's (used to work at SQ) and lets just say they have had a few calls...

I made the exact same experience. I also couldn't check in online for a flight I had booked on their old website still. When I tried to call customer service, an automated message greeted me, starting immediately by saying that 'their new website is unfortunately still experiencing teething problems''. Once at the airport, I couldn't check in for my flight either, it apparently said something like 'unavailable' in their systems. They still got me on the flight though, even on the seats I had selected, but I arrived without my luggage. But in their defense, the staff was extremely polite and helpful and my stuff was brought to my hotel only a couple hours later. I forgive them, but don't understand how you can implement something so central to your business when it's not working entirely flawless yet.

I think the background grey pattern is quite nice, but the blue at the top is not very nice. I managed to log in to my KrisFlyer account, but then it crashed.
I also don't like the blue at the top. It should be deeper. Currently it looks a bit more like FR's blue. But I like the fact they did not put hotels, car rentals, and cruises booking on the website. That would have just made it look cheap.
Notice they also just came out (finally) with an iPhone app, which has received very poor reviews. I tried using it but it also crashed a few times.
Seems they need to fire everyone in their IT dept...

It,s fine. Not beautiful and doesn't reflect Singapore's uber premium position, but functional looking. If you swaped out the Swan for US AIRWAYS "WITH THE WRONG AMERICAN FLAG LOGO" it would seem like a US website. Missed branding opportunity !

The booking function took a second to work with, but I have to hand it Singapore, at least they upgraded their ENTIRE site. United, for example, has a hybrid site it seems whereby on some of the screens, like the loading screens, it's still the old logo and pictures. Well done I would say.
All comments up there are by frequent users (business travellers) of SQ website and they are never satisfied with what Singapore Airlines claim to offer in the new website. Some interesting stories up for your grasp. One could hardly imagine an airline like SQ would roll out such a website without thoroughly testing the compatibility and reliability.
