I was wondering if GIG or GRU can support the A380. Anybody know if they currently support or with the Brazil airport upgrades prior to the World Cup 2014 has plans to support it?

Also, if it did support, I was wondering if routes like GRU-MIA could support a daily flight.

If I remember correctly GIG got some upgrades to better support the A380 but I think it doesn't have those two floor gates exclusive for the A380. GRU had the A380 back in the world tour but I don't know if it supports a regular operation with it.

I saw the A380 in Dec-2008 when I returned to Frankfurt onboard JJ8070 (or some other JJ flight I did during that holiday).
It was at one of the terminals and on youtube there are several videos of the event.
On this video you can see one jetway docked to the plane. And here a lot of taxing is shown.

Is all boarding to the A380 always on the two decks? I believe EK does board via stairs at least sometimes in JED.

if I'm not mistaken GRU is not 380-ready yet, because LH wants to fly, but can't servce the city at the moment.
