Does anyone happen to know what flight Delta operated CVGJFK in August 1999 with a B-767-300ER? It was an evening flight, and I THINK it might have continued to MUC but not sure about that. Any info would be great! Thanks in advance.

I have a December 2000 Timetable for Delta, and I am banking that the flight number has not changed...
I am showing a Delta Air Lines Flight 76 CVG-JFK-MUC on a 767-300 leaving CVG at 4:05pm, getting into JFK at 6:10pm, then onward to MUC, getting into MUC at 9:55am the next day. This showed to have a movie and dinner on board and operated Daily.
Good things come to those who wait, better things come to those who go AFTER it!

I concur. I searched August of 1999 on the BTS.gov website, and it certainly looks to me like it was flight #76. Sometimes flight #408 was also an -ER, but most of the time it was a non-ER bird, so that wouldn't make sense.

Amazing what the CVG-JFK route has been reduced to today. At least they have a M/L 738 back on there currently, though I'm not sure it operates each day, just looked for today in travelnet.
Also, I guess this is why we always had those ridiculous signs in CVG calling Munich the "Sister City" of Cincinnati and promoting (what would appear to be) CVG-MUC flights. CVG-MUC & CVG-JFK-MUC aren't quite the same, but I guess all in all, either one would get you there.
They don't call em' emergencies anymore. They call em' Patronies.
