I have completed the ground school for the 727. I passed my oral. Upon completion the check airman told me I really surprised him on the oral. I don't know how to take that. Either he expected a poor performance from me or I was better than the average oral.

I did my walk around and will be entering into the sim on the 8th of November. If everything goes according to sched I will start IOE on the 15th and be on revenue service after 12 hours experience.

See you on the shuttle.

Jetpilot I remember when we where discussing between US air and Atlas. you claimed that you wanted to fly the 747 but you could be an FO in 737 for US air. Are you a bit upset you are back in the side seat when you could be in that seat flying a 747?

To be honest I would love to be in either of the seats or even a 1st class seat in the 727!!

It's interesting you asked that because the chief pilot at Atlas called me yesterday and asked me to reconsider their offer. 747/200 engineer the first 6 months with an upgrade to FO. With a base in N.Y.

I'm pondering the thought.

At US Airways I will never fly the 747.

I don't suppose US Airways will be too happy if you decide to leave now. Do you have any kind of bonding agreement ?

Other than that good luck on the sim, either the 727 or the 747. Dificult dicision to make.
