Seems like a daily ritual now with the DOT.
Maybe this is all part of the plan to help solve our national budget deficit?


Today the FAA is proposing a $250,000 civil penalty against AirTran Airways for operating an aircraft in non compliance of FAA regulations.

FAA alleges Air Tran operated a 737 on four flights without the proper repair or test of an angle-of-attack sensor. FAA also alleges the airline improperly used MEL to defer and further continue using the aircraft.
