For several weeks I have noticed "Sun Country to Laughlin, NV, July 14-17" promoted on the marquee at the entrance to the Bemidji, MN, airport. Since I cannot find anything at the Sun Country and Bemidj Airport websites concerning an upcoming BJI-IFP-BJI flight(s)...what is "the story" behind what is promoted on the aforementioned marquee?

SY does many casino charters to IFP. IIRC these can only be booked through Sun County Vacations. Between these casino charters and DOD flights SY is flying to many "new" cities this year.

I dropped my brother off at the Bemidji airport today and saw the same SY ad on the sign....It really surprised me to see that.
It will be interesting to see a B737-800 in BJI thats for sure! I am going to try and get a picture when it comes in.
