This morning I was tracking ship numbers /routings. With much sadness it appears N760NC/9851 is slated to ferry to KMJZ tomorrow morning (09JUL11) out of MSP. This was the first -50 for North Central. It will be sadly missed.

Hmmm, a '76 build. Not as exciting as some of those old -30s and -40s as far as age but still amazing to see that these old birds are still flying around, doing as much as 6-7 legs a day. Goes to show that these thigns truly were built like tanks.

Expect to see them slowly fly to the desert through 2012 if things still go as planned.

Thanks for the info. I flew 9851 for the first time Feb. 14, 1978 DTW-YYZ, the last time was Dec. 29, 1994 MKE-DTW. Next time I have a can of Coke I'll remember her.

It's kind of amazing that ex-Muse Air/TranStar and ex-Eastern planes are still out there over 20 years after both shut down.
