As many of you have noticed many airlines (mainly American Airlines) have added more room throughout coach by increasing the seat pitch a few inches. I have been wondering will Northwest follow suit?
Their DC9s and 757-200s are very cramped for space (in fact the most cramped in the fleet, or at least to me).
What about the 757-300s and A333s that they ordered will they be the only ones to recieve more room in economy?

The simple answer is no. NWA and Continental have an excellent system to award their most loyal flyers by providing unlimited upgrades to first class to all elite members. That way they can afford to reward their high yield pax without negatively affecting their load factors.

I would apreciate it if anyone would care to elaborate on the situation of more economy space(legroom) in the arriving 753s and A333s
