It's good to see another airline operating the route from LGW. I hope they do well.
For Forty years the first wave of UK tourist flights have departed between 0600 and 0730 especially on the short 2 hour hops to north Spain and been back around lunch time with a further short afternoon leg, then a longer Canary/Cyprus/Egypt over nighter.
Just good utilization.
Many of the seats on these Monarch services will remain block booked by Cosmos group i have no doubt.
