Acording to a photo here in Airliners.net
PANAM flew HELSINKI-STOCKHOLM-JFK using A310 aircraft. Maybe before receiving the 310 the use one of the 747 clippers on that route, or 727´s to FRA or LHR and then transfer to a 747 to JFK.

This year will be the 10th. anniversary of PANAM banckruptcy, such an incredible carrier.

There is indeed such a site!!!!

www.atmosphere.be/travel/jjd

It is under construction, if the info you want isn't yet posted email at

panamhistory@yahoo.com.au
Don't forget the .au or it doesn't work.

Helsinki: They restarted flights there quite late on, as of Sept 1990 the sched was

Thur: Helsinki-Oslo-London 722
m, f: Helsinki-Stockholm-JFK 310
w,sa,sun: nonstop JFK 310

as of 1991 flights were operating

jfk-oslo-stockholm-helsinki in different combinations depending on the day of the week, until the summer when flights were nonstop jfk once more most days.

Hope that helps  Smile
