A couple of years ago, I was on a flight and descending into PHX. It was late in the afternoon and almost dark. For a moment, we passed through some thick snow. The way that the landing lights illuminated it as we flew through it at (180 or so mph?) made it absolutely stunning! Thousands of little white streaks passing by the window...
