Picked up on this after I looked into the schedules on Frontier's web-site. Ends September 12th I believe. Any insights?

It's not worth anything today, but ATW did have a l-o-n-g history with YX; IIRC, it was one of YX's original destinations and may even have been a K-C Aviation city.

Correct, and YX was essentially set up (at first) to be a virtual Kimberly Clark corporate shuttle.

Next Up: STL-EWR-STL for my first mileage run!

I believe that YX pretty much originated out of ATW but migrated to MKE once it began to grow as a regularly scheduled public airline.

I'd take the awe of understanding over the awe of ignorance any day.

FYI, mostly (and recently) in:

New Republic/Frontier #24 (by srbmod Jul 15 2011 in Civil Aviation) (As almost anything concerning F9/YX/Republic is!)

One thing to remember is that not everybody reads and/or posts in the "mega" threads. Just because something was posted in those threads doesn't always means that it shouldn't be or can't be discussed in a separate thread dedicate to that subject.

I couldn't agree more.

I can't speak for smoot's intentions or post but I was simply letting MKE22 know that there was already a discussion out there -- and where -- so he (and others) might save some time by seeing what's already been said about this topic. I have appreciated it when others have told me about a topic that's already been discussed within some other, somewhat obscure or even unrelated, thread title...
