Finally somebody had the time to do the paper work. Another 30 less pending - while I don't think that JL worried about that particular order still as pending...

G'day

Great news. I also love the para in the article where it says quote:

The order brings Lufthansa's backlog with Airbus to 85 A320-family aircraft. Its backlog also includes 38 A330s, 65 A340s and eight A380s.

unquote:

With another 65 units to be delivered who says the A 340 is dead?

I guess this deserves a separate thread.

Cheers

Peter

I though LH was going to do a huge order for the LH group like 200 A320 NEO or something like that....

Who will be next??? IAG, AF, Alitalia???

The A320 and A380 look like correct, but the A330s I cannot find any number near to that, it is more like 10 outstanding orders -so what have they been smoking there?

Indeed. While this 30 has been nailed on for some time, it's actually a surprisingly small number. Now that Boeing has declared their hand, I can't see any reason why LH won't order a significant number of neos.

That was an error in the article: LH Group has 65 A340's in service (50 at LH, 15 at LX), so it is not the backlog.
