For those ROC people on A-Net, N277WA arrived from BGR around 7:50PM and parked in A warmup pad. I think this is the first MD-11 to ever land here.

Got it coming in for rw 4. Must have been a troop charter. They said they had 202 on board. I too think this was the first MD11 here, ever! Photo to be uploaded to the other site once my que is processed. I haven't seen a heavy 3-holer here since Christmas '97 when a Kalitta L1011 came in.

I also see we had a couple B6 diversions, too! One was JBU190 from LAS. We don't get the B6 A320's ,now.

Thanks to flightaware's flight notification feature . I wouldn't have gotten the heads-up that it was coming in.I took it with my 18-200mm lens. I thought my 100-400L would be too much . I lucked out with the sun ,too .

Nice pic! The aircraft departed for TPA around 9:20 PM and climbed out like a homesick angel, must've been empty on a repositioning flight.

I would have loved to catch it departing on 22. Any more of these coming our way soon?

Great pic - thanks for sharing. Of the military charters I've been on, I thought WO 's MD11's were the best.
