Hi there,
I have spotten on aberdeenairport.co.uk that Barrhead Travel are operating a series of charters from Aberdeen to Palma de Mallorca and Malaga on Saturdays (BA45** flight number series.)
Does anybody know which aircraft are being used? Embraer 190s from Cityflyer or mainline Airbus?

BA have operated several charters on Sundays from GLA for Barrhead Travel this summer. Here, for example is a promotion for BA4533/34 which is an E190 operating GLA-AGP-GLA:

They are operated by Cityflier E190s that are freed up because of limited weekend schedule at LCY. They operate GLA-AGP-ABZ-AGP-GLA, and similarly for PMI.
I guess it must be quite nice to have a BA E190 compared to the usual cramped charter planes you often get on these routes!

They also operate some charters from Newcastle.
Next year we are going to Ibiza on a BA E190.
I was delighted when I found out.
The Embraer 170 to 195 series is a great little plane.
Plenty of room and no seat supports to obstruct your leg room.

it is interesting to see how mainline carrier utilize their aircraft on charter operations when the plane would normally sit around the tarmac the whole weekend. another airline doing that is Lufthansa.
