When I landed today, Monday 1st August at CDG around 16:45pm on AF, I noticed while we were taxiing to CDG2F, two UA aircraft (1 B777 with former UA colors and 1 B763ER with the new UA colors) parked and door closed, at the remote area in front of the satellites of the Terminal 1 (near the usual parking of the French Air Force A340).
As far as I know, UA has no services at this time of the day; all the flights to EWR, IAH, IAD and ORD depart in the morning and at noon.
Any explanation? Are they AOG, any mechanical issue?

According to united.com, today's CDG-ORD flight cancelled, which would explain the 763. The only reason they gave was "aircraft servicing."
Don't know about the 777.

I believe there is a CDG-IAD flight that departs in the afternoon. CO133 leaves at 5pm but it is usually a CO 757.
