I just heard from somewhere that SriLankan is adding Oslo to its network. Can anyone confirm this, as I have not heard anything else about it? Apparently they will use the A340 for the service.

I think I've heard about it but I think they will fly the route OSL-CPH-COLOMBO.

They are starting a twice weekly Beirut schedule. Do you know what aircraft type they will use? It seems they are doing a major network expansion.

They are using the A330 for its twice weekly Beirut flights via Kuwait which start on Oct 31. And over the next two weeks, Stockholm and Sydney will come on line.

This is only a rumour. SriLankan has no plans to fly to Oslo or Copenhaegan till next April. However a SriLankan delegation has been in talks with London to increase their CMB-LON service to twice daily operation.

SriLankan starts flying from Stockholm-Arlanda with A340 once a week, and A330 once a week. Not to Oslo
what i have heard. Both flights to CMB via DXB.

Further to previous posts, UL will be operating twice weekly to ARL, but I have heard that Gulf Air will be operating a service to Oslo. Not sure when, but presumably A330-200s also.
