I guess Srilankan will probably codeshare with Emirates, once they launch their Dubai-New York/LAX service whenever that is supposed to happen.
I cant see SriLankan flying there in their own right, makes no sense to go all that way when EK can do it on their behalf.
As for Royal Brunei, I know they were considering a service to Honolulu around the time of the Asian crisis. Nothing has developed on that front so far.

I agree with Gardermoen's comments. Can't see SriLankan operating on its own right to the US. I think insted of the States, Canada with Toronto in particular would be a much better proposition for Sri Lankan, as Toronto has a large Sri Lankan community.
