Just had a breaking news announcement come on the 10PM News on Fox 35. It said a jetBlue aircraft had declared an emergency and landed at MCO, and that the Orlando Fire Department is responding in addition to the airport fire department. Anyone know what happened?

Apparently it was flight 577 or 597. They said 577 on the news but the arrival time they gave matched 597. Update said it may have been hydraulics and the 90 passengers on board were deplaning onto the tarmac

Sounds like they deplaned at the gate, not tarmac.

Not sure why they would deplane on the tarmac, no one was in danger after they landed safely. If the brakes don't work then you tow the plane back to the gate with the pax onboard. Getting out slides and having pax disembark on the slides is risking more injuries.
