I purchased a die cast 200 scale model of a CO 727-100 in the original golden jet livery, which is my favorite of any, ever. However, I cannot locate one single photo of it being flowin in this color scheme. All pictures are of the meatball golden jet. I don't want to get the model if one never actually flew in the original golden jet scheme, which was also applied to the Viscout and the 707. Thanks for the help!

Quoting 727LOVER (Reply 5): Exactly year was meatball livery introduced?
It was either 1967 or 1968. It was on the cover of Aviation Week. The first aircraft in the new livery was a 727-100.
