The SSJ-100-95 is at SFO right now.
It's a flight started last night and the final destination - Toluca airport in Mexico.
From Moscow via Norilsk-Magadan-ANC.
Now it is at SFO - crew is resting.
The departure is scheduled for 9.00 UTC which is 2.00 am Pacific time.
So if we have a.netters in Toluca - please make a picture, if possible.
It will be arriving in the morning.
I don't know how long it takes from SFO to Toluca.
They said arrival time 7.00 or 8.00 am local.
It's related to hot/high altitude tests.
Another aircraft have completed high temperature tests in UAE just a few days ago.

It's parked at Plot-3 here at SFO. Should be some good shots from the end of the A concourse or AirTran gates. You can also get a good shot from the roadway entering the Int'l terminal from northbound 101.
There is also an Antonov 124 at SuperBay. Is it flying a support roll?

No, as739x.
SSJ-100 does not need AN-124 for support (good joke).
It has all Alenia/ATR stations for this purpose.
That's why 60% of sales are managed by Superjet International where Alenia has majority.
And sure it's a great chance to show how it fits InterJet.

OK, just curious. Not often we have 2 Russian birds here at the same time. Specially as one is making a World tour, which I assume the SSJ-100 is doing.
Not that the AN-124 is a rare bird to SFO.

It's not actually a World Tour.
They plan somethig like that in 2012 when
1) EASA/FAA certification completed,
2) when they reach the planned 24 a year rate next year.
This is supposed to be hot/high altitude test program along with some InterJet show-off as our follow a.netter correctly put.

Quoting pylon101 (Reply 3): And sure it's a great chance to show how it fits InterJet.
Hope our Mexican friends will make good pics.
As from what I know, the bird will be here for +/-20 days testing out at TLC and being shown to new American operator, Interjet. Dunno if true it will stay that long.
I'll try to get pictures.

Logistically SSJ-100 can stay in the region for 20 days.
They have 2 more frames for completing EASA/FAA certification by the end of December.
We don't have any information about Sukhoi/Superjet International plans reg. promotion campaign.
Let's keep following.
