Quick question. I am going to London on United 934 tomorrow from los Angeles. However I am not in busines or first. This is the first time I am flying this route or any international route on United that isnt in first or business. Does United serve free alcohol on internation flights in economy class?
Also what is the food like on the flight in economy? I know the business and first food on this flight has gone down in quality.

Thanks you guys. No i am on a 777, Trust me i know about those 747's i hate sitting up stairs, can you say clostrophobic.i hope my flight crew is nice. maybe i will recognize some flight attendants i have had before.

I love the 747s i use to work on them and i miss it. I think they are the best planes to fly on, and work on I use to love sitting in the upper deck also as a pax, hated working up there though. o well

the 747 is not a comfortable plane for passengers because there is no place where you can stand and socialize. people are sitting right behind door 2 unlike the 777's configuration.

The 747 isnt all that bad. I just prefer to have a PTV, a little more room, and an overall feeling of a less packed cabin. Being on a full 747 in UA econ is not a pleasant experience for 12 hours.
