The current profit estimate for European airlines:
2011 - $1.4 billion
2012 - $300 million

It is a drastic decline by all measures (just for comparision, LH Group's net income this year is expected to be more than twice of that). Asian carriers will be affected the least, but profitability will decrease in all regions.
