A Delta Shuttle flight to Boston hit a bird or birds on climbout from LGA this morning, lost an engine and diverted to JFK.

Only 27 passengers for an A319? I found that part more interesting!

Joking aside, glad everything turned out ok!

Tinosky,

Mid-day, mid-week Shuttle flights are usually empty.

Empty doesn't even begin to describe those flights. We're talking something like ten or fifteen passengers on a mid-week, mid-day flight between DCA and LGA on the E75. Awesome flights. Great Shuttle America/Republic crews (including a smoking hot FO I had last week), although I'm sure they're excited they don't have to deal with overhead issues or kids.

It'll be a sad day when DL, and they will at some point, does away with the shuttle.
