Are there any good photos of El Al cabins from the 1970s-1980s? I believe the 1980s interiors were shades of tan and brown. So far I have found virtually no pictures online from that time period!

Did you look in the Db?

I recall the multi colored sidewalls

The seats in Y are the same, but the rest of the interior was updated (fortunately)

Yes I have looked in the database. I was hoping for images of the cabin from the 70s and 80s, showing the seats and interior from those periods, not the updated seats that have been put in the older planes. Oh well, thanks anyway.

The early 70s was exactly the same as the picture with those bright colours.

Before I recall vaguely the walls were plain white. Seats I don't remember. I took my first LY flight in 1962; Boeing 720B. I regret I missed the Bristol Britania.

The earlier 747 seats didnt have wings and from the early 80s were navy blue with abstract shaped horizontal stripes. I have photos that I will try to upload. In the 70s, seats were multi coloured 3 - 4 -2 configuration
