Air India-1985.
The plane flew YYZ-YUL-LHR. There was another bomb that went off at YYZ that day. What flight was that targeting?
Pan Am (103)
Anyone know which 727 was being used on the FRA-LHR run that day? Since the bomb was on a timer, if this aircraft had had a significant delay, it could have been airborne when the bomb blew.

No, the other bomb was on a CPAir B747 YVR-NRT flight. It targeted CP003 on the same day. The bomb exploded as baggage was being unloaded in Tokyo, killing 2 and injuring 4.

The baggage was through checked in YVR - BKK for CP Flight 003 connecting with AI 301 NRT - BKK. The bomb was supposed to target the connecting AI 301 but went off early during baggage transfer at NRT.

Not sure which 727 was used however the bomb started off in Malta, boarded Air Malta flight KM180 from Malta to Frankfurt, which then connected to PA103 from FRA-LHR-JFK. I believe it was a barometric timing device which was meant to go off at the right time and altitude. The bombers were apparently try to have it detonate whilst over water, however due to a delay in departure from LHR, it happened over land.
