There are some sites I could look at, but I need seperate east/west totals. I see that TPA is now getting two 319s on the PHX route, and its two different aircraft. So Im trying to see what the chances of photographing some special liveries, there's five right?

A better question: How many of them are still in the old US colors?! I keep thinking that one day I'll no longer see them on approach to DCA but I still see plenty!

Are the football liveries still on the A319s? The only one I have seen in the last couple of years is Pittsburgh Steelers, which I saw at TPA in June. I haven't seen the Eagles or Panthers planes in a couple years down at MCO or TPA and I yet to see the Cardinals in Florida.
Haven't seen the 2 state flag A319s in Florida either nor the America West tribute A319 - I flew on Piedmont A319 in Jan though.
Ozell, does one of them come around 1:30 pm? I was spotting at TPA last Wed at the park and saw a Star Alliance N700UW come in, that was the only 319 I got - the other must come early AM or after dark.
Ozell, try a site called www.planefinder.net. They only show a limited amount of aircraft currently but are adding more and more. I notice it does have the US Airways Airbus fleet and it gives the tail number of the aircraft. So you can see if that particular bird is coming to TPA that day and where it is located. I wish they had Southwest planes so I could get Florida One. It seems to mainly have airbus planes but I noticed the AA and Delta fleet is in there too. It has a lot of international stuff that I use to see which Air France, Virgin etc coming to MCO.

By the way to do a filter for US Airways, you have to do America West on Planefinder.net. The site still has some quirks and I just emailed the owners of it - its connected to the site www.pinkfroot.net

In my opinion, one of the best airline liveries I have ever seen. Love the old US look pre-HP merger.

They're all still there. Panthers was in just the other night here (DFW) for an RON.

Indeed. It's one of my favs too. But like UA's Vader scheme, it just didn't age well.

I don't recall seeing any US A319s when I was there last Wed from around noon til almost dark other than what probably was the east one in Star colors. I did see an E175 in US colors there, which I don't recall ever seeing at TPA.

Us Airways needs to repaint the PSA retro plane onto a HP bird and bring it out to the west coast where it belongs, not flying on the east coast. I think we on the west coast would appreciate seeing it at LAX,SFO more than at DCA and LGA. Just my thought.

Especially when that scheme was still on the Boeing planes.

What ACTUALLY needs to done is to finally integrate their East-West pilots groups into one. It's been just over SIX YEARS since the merger. Once that's completed, the East-West cross-fleeting of planes can finally happen en masse.

While I agree that the livery belongs out west, keep in mind that most of the former PSA employees are now part of the East operation.

I havent seen Eagles or Panthers in ages at MCO or TPA, probably a good 2 years plus - thats the reason I ask. I have only seen Steelers and that was back in June.

I really haven't seen any of the special colored A319s for a while other than N700UW Star Alliance at TPA the other day.
I couldn't remember when I last seen Eagles, Panthers. Steelers I saw in June at TPA. I have only seen Cardinals once in my life in person and it was at ATL and it was too far to get a picture.
I have never seen the A319 state planes in real life, only in photos.
Old airline liveries have been a while too. I flew on Piedmont Jan 5 from CLT - DTW, never seen the America West tribute plane other than pictures. It has been maybe a year since I seen PSA and about 3 years since I seen Allegheny.

I saw the PSA plane here at MSP a few weeks ago. Also saw an old-livery US paint scheme 319 today, fwiw.
I've been to PHX when the Allegheny and Piedmont planes were at adjacent gates. Good photo op.

Bummer, today's PHX flight was a regular bird, as was Monday and Tuesday's. Don"t know about Wednesday.
The US east 319s are fairly easy to see. Not positive, but I seem to have the most luck with the DCA flights. The west 319s are harder because we usually get 320 on that route.

Quoting 727LOVER (Reply 20): The west 319s are harder because we usually get 320 on that route.
That is probably why I don't have Cardinals or the State liveries - US uses the 320 to MCO from PHX and I thought the same for TPA
Don't believe I have seen that one yet. I am sure it comes regularly to MCO though. I will have to check with Air Tran ops to find when it is coming in next. I have been taking my camera to work and calling the guys in Air Tran ops to see when certain planes are coming in - that is how I finally got the Orlando Magic plane
Quoting 727LOVER (Reply 20): and about an hour later, one of the gold WN showed up.
Yeah I saw that at MCO a couple weeks back and got a picture of it pulling out of its gate. I didn't think there were any left N714CB - its on my collection of pictures from last TPA trip
Quoting 727LOVER (Reply 20): UA/CO, most colors are trackable, same for some DL
What do you mean by that?
Quoting 727LOVER (Reply 20): The airline I'm really having a problem with is B6.
4 special liveries and I've only got one the 10th, and its not a good pic.
You are going to have to go to MCO then.
Although when I was spotting at TPA last Wed I got
JBU - Real Salt Lake (3rd time I got it at TPA and never got it at MCO - surprise of all surprises)
JBU - 100th A320 (got 2 JBU special colors in one day at TPA)
SWA - Lone Star One
USA - Star Alliance
American - Flagship Liberty yellow ribbon 737
plus a Delta 767-300 as a bonus
was hoping for some World or North American Airlines movements but didn't see any that day, but 5 special paint schemes at TPA that day otherwise.
I still haven't gotten JBU - New York Jets though.

Quoting 727LOVER (Reply 22): Most UA/CO, DL and F9 are trackable on flightaware by reg.
I was aware that you could do some on Flightaware. That would be nice for Frontier here - because there are a few animals I don't have. We rarely see A319s anymore at MCO from F9, they've been bringing in A320s from DEN and E190s from MKE
Does F9 even flight to TPA anymore? I didn't see them when I was there and I haven't seen them on the flight trackers.
Quoting 727LOVER (Reply 22): I believe there are 3 WN in gold, but they are repainted in a different hue, so really they should be considered special colors, not old.
