Quoting ghifty (Reply 7): One can only dream that that will happen, and one can only dream even further than the TV show will be worth watching.
Better yet if they could roll out a show called Golden or Silver Falcon Eastern Airlines had a colorful controversial past almost as rich as Pan Am. Imagine, Eddie Rickenbacker's stubborness on entering the jetage, strikes, hijack me to Cuba, the Ghost of 401, Frank Lorenzo CEO from hell etc. And of course you could throw in plotlines with hottie stewardesses from back in the day.

Yes, I had a great time, too. I joked they should have just advertised it as Pride Fest 2 But I behaved and didn't try to snag anyone's number ,haha
But it was nice to go inside for sure. It was nice to see a great appreciative crowd make the trip and effort to go out there. Lots of people with cameras at the Jamaica Station headed out on the AirTrain. It seems lots of people made the effort to come from all over - I met one couple who took the train down for the day from Boston to go inside. Way neat.
if assumptions could fly, airliners.net would be the world's busiest airport

Thank you! The photographer in me was saying "How do I get a good shot with all these people in the way..." and the "TWA Brat" in me was saying "It's great to see so many people back in this building!" I could just imagine they were all on their way to board those big red and white jets parked right outside...
