G'Day all

Here is what I think should be the new colour scheme of Air Mauritius.
Though the currenct livery is very nice and conservative (in the positive way), I don't think a beautifull Islands' airline is suitable for conservative colourschemes  Smile/happy/getting dizzy

any comment is welcome (especially from AirOrange)

Hey Mario, good piece of art. But one question: Why does*every* livery people post on airliners.net have to look like bmi???

I for one, like it. The scheme symbolizes the islands; the red for the sunrises and sunsets; the blue wavy look as the ocean waves.

Tail, engines and winglets are nice, the body however could be better. Make a straight line of it, not a wave. That may improve the look of the color scheme. And maybe a bit more orange on the body.

The waves look good.
Clearly some on here have never been to Mauritius or else they wouldnt be criticizing your work.

That livery is great! How do you make liveries on your computer? I'd like to try some of my own if I could.

Sorry my post got posted twice. My internet was not working very well and it didn't seem to post, so I posted it again. It appears that it posted the first time though, so my appologies.

Beside the already mentioned critics about similarities with Air Tahiti Nui and BMI I like your layout. Nice colours. The "Waviness" fits to Mauritius being an island in the middle of the Ocean, but I think it has to be interpreted a bit different. The "clear seas" image of that Island leads me to think that the bottom should be turquoise, the top more like "red" sunset skies. Something like that.
You´re absolutely right in saying that "I don't think a beautifull Islands' airline is suitable for conservative colourschemes".

Nice work Lh423. I would however add in some yellow and green to the scheme. Perhaps make a green "cheat line" along the curves, and then at the top of the tail blend some yellow in. Great work though!
