Is this aircraft still in the hangers at Avalon - or has it now been totally pulled down and parted out?

Just interested to know.... it was the first 743 I ever flew in back in the 1980's

Does anyone know why Qantas hasn't revived the scheme on a 744, 744ER or even a 388? Wunala Dreaming looks awesome on the 744ER  .

Looking at the state of QF at the moment, painting up an A380 would be a completely unwaranted expense.

That picture looks sad...

Does anybody have done some photoshop how this livery would look like on an A380? Would be interesting to see. Difficult to imagine how it looks like as the proportions are so different between 744 and 388.

I flew this aircraft SYD-HNL back in 2003-2006 (can't remember exactly) and she was in VERY poor condition. As gorgeous as the livery was, this was a plane that needed to be put out of service ASAP.

Yes, and I think she looks incredible... See here

Other attempts include this one and this one. Those second two aren't as polished as the first one...

I must say it looks better than I expected. Good job.

So maybe we see an A380 of QF in such a livery one day.

I saw her on Sunday when I rode past on the "Bay in a Day" ride.

50km into a 210km ride with a monster head wind, I was grateful to have something to have something interesting to look at, made a welcome change from the butt of the cyclist in front
