Someone can help me look this up, I don't have enough info to be able to use Flightaware. I believe I saw an A380 at altitude, flying roughly E to W over Morris County in NW New Jersey, around 1:00pm. It had 4 engines evident in the contrail, and a wingspan seemed the proportion of an A380, longer than a 747, and the fuselage stockier than an A340.

Quoting STT757 (Reply 1):
I see them over Eastern Monmouth county all the time on approach to JFK.
Of course, none at EWR. This was pretty high, enough for contrails. Would anything flying an A380 into JFK come in from the northeast, circle around and descend to approach JFK from the south via Monmouth County?? I don't know the approaches at all.
