I suppose these flights would be necessary to facilitate aircraft rotation if QR does in fact begin significant domestic flying in the Iranian market. I do wonder if QR will fly out of THR for domestic service given that it is not an existing station - if so, that would partially explain the need for additional MHD and SYZ services to rotate aircraft since current regulations would not allow DOH-THR to be flown.

I was actually going to pose the question of whether or not Isfahan could be on the table, but obviously there's my answer. I wonder if they would eventually consider AWZ and/or TBZ as well.
