It is no secret that the new owners of bmi regional would like to rebrand the airline into something more Scottish.

I wonder what the new name will be or the livery etc, does anyone have any good suggestions?

I would like to see something fresh, clean and professional. Maybe not too geographical in its name unless it will really want to commit to being the national airline of Scotland offering services similar to most national flag carriers (across the pond perhaps- pipedream).

What about their affiliation with STAR, will be interesting to see if the new entity remains in the alliance.

And a partnership with a Scandinavian airline - wonder who? Currently close to SAS which is STAR, any other possible outcomes you can think of? City Airlines has been rumoured.

Air Scotland? Scotland Airways? Maybe even Business Air again?
