Another tourist helicopter crash. The article that at least one of the couples were honeymooners. I feel sorry for the families.

This crash was of a new copter. Will be interesting to find out what happened. Very sad for everyone involved.

I was looking for a thread on this. Flew with this company 2 years ago. Seemed well run. I noticed that some pilots got a lot closer to things than others. We were part of a "convoy" that flew from Waikoloa to the volcanoes, stopped at ITO for fuel, then toured the northern part of the big island. Taxiing at ITO was a really cool experience, hovering a few feet off the ground as we moved to the runway and took off forward like an aircraft.

Our pilot stayed very far from everything (we were a bit annoyed with just how far), while the other pilot got very close to everything (seemed almost too close).


Of all the things to worry about... the Wookie has no pants.
