In a Jetstream journal there was a picture showing both 747s next to each other. I will try to make a scan and post it here at the weekend (if I don't receive an email from a lawyer in the meantime...).

These two B747 were accompagnied by a 3rd one, but this one was never painted in full LN colors, it had the registration 5A-DIL. the 3 airliners were sold to Varig as PP-VNA, VNB and VNC, after a storage period in Everett.
But i did never know where they were expected to be used by the airline, which routes? i'm not sure LN had really the need of this kind of aircraft capacity.

Those pics look like postcard shots. Back in the Day when airlines gave out aviation/airline related promo material like free candy during Halloween. I believe if you can find said postcards with the LAA logo (aka authentic"), they may be worth a nice shiny copper.
